Indie Sky + Co founders Joanna Daros and Lauren Griffiths have had a passion for the hairdressing and beauty industries for more than 20 years and have worked together for over 15 years.

Throughout this time, Joanna and Lauren have worked extensively in the bridal industry, as well as regularly on fashion campaigns and photo shoots. Their luxury salon, in the heart of Drummoyne, has now been open since 2016 and was named after Lauren and Joanna's gorgeous little princesses, Indie and Skyla.

The team at Indie Sky + Co have been hand picked by Joanna and Lauren to ensure they all share the same passion for style and beauty. With the perfect balance of expertise, professionalism and guest comfort, you can trust the team at Indie Sky + Co to bring to life the look you have been envisioning for any special occasion, event or just to make you feel great.

Joanna is co-owner and senior stylist at Indie Sky + Co. As a fully qualified hairdresser with over 20 years experience she specialises in both styling and colouring.

Joanna worked at salons in Sweden, France, the UK and Sydney training with some of the best as a junior stylist, and is continually updating her skills and training.

What she loves most about her job is doing a big hair makeover and a dramatic change for a client who wants something fresh.

LAUREN GRIFFITHS

Co-owner and senior stylist, Lauren Griffiths has over 17 years experience in hairdressing and over 7 years as a professional make-up artist. She holds a Certificate III in Hairdressing and a Diploma in Make-up.

Lauren worked internationally for a number of years, honing her styling and colouring skills, before returning home to Sydney and starting Indie Sky + Co with Joanna.

She specialises in bridal hair and make-up.

Lauren loves what she does and is continuously updating knowledge and experience in colour, styling and make-up.

NATALEE

With an extensive 15 year career in hair, beauty and events management Natalee joined the Indie Sky + Co team in 2017 as Salon Manager.

Previously having also worked in several corporate and IT roles she brings a wealth of knowledge to the salon including experience in marketing, accounting and administration.

Amy is the newest addition to Indie Sky + Co.

She has always dreamed of working within the hair industry and started her apprenticeship in October 2020.

With an interest in both colour and styling Amy is excited that she has joined the Indie Sky + Co team to begin her hairdressing career.
